Target is not a essential store.
During this 2020 pandemic outbreak, non essential stores are closing for the sake of its employees, customers, and families both parties have. Target does not just sell food, they sell cosmetics (whom stores are closed), clothing stores(also, those stores are closed), electronic stores (also closed during the COVID-19 crisis). Stores like shoprite & Kroger are food stores and are categorized as a essential stop for what families may need to survive during this pandemic. Understanding that they should stay open is acceptable to a certain degree.
Why is this important?
I say this is crucial because you do not know who has this deathly virus. Sure, you can wear PPE gear (personal protective equipment) but, that may not stop you from still using that same glove to wipe your nose with that you instantly forgot could be contaminated. Of course, keep your safe distance, 6 feet from person to person contact--that will not keep you virus safe as no one knows who has it and they do not need to stay home as no one is watching them to do. Especially new families with infants and elderly to keep safe.
