Hire one employee making at least minimum wage to take and handle all to go orders made by phone or app. To go apps have brought a lot of business to the companies we work for. It’s a great thing for business but not so great for servers pockets. We are doing a job that’s creating a lot of revenue and we aren’t making anymore for doing it.
Why is this important?
We have to stand up for our already low wages. We have to let our employers know we are willing to do the job that we are paid for but need to make more when more is asked of us. I have been a server for a long time and have never felt more underpaid than now.
