My time and effort is worth more!
Since 2020 our pay has been cut two to three times. Now you basically want us to shop and deliver orders for free! $7 dollars doesn't even cover the cost of gas after traveling to the store, to the costumer and back again. Not to mention the toll costs it takes to get to certain customers! You have decreased our pay by looking at the tips we get, which in some cases are great, but not everyone tips, so $7 dollars is an insult to my efforts and worth! I love the job I do but you're making it impossible for us to survive on the work we do! We demand an increase in our pay scale or we will go on another strike and blast the company to all of customers and news outlets!
Why is this important?
I'm sure most of you agree that Shipt has made it almost impossible to live and pay your bills with the massive decrease in pay. Not to mention the insult it gives to our worth and effort! After costs for gas, toll, and wear and tear on our cars, they are basically pimping us out for free! Join me in this campaign to demand an increase in our pay!
