Do Not Unionize IKEA Seattle
Stop lying on your petition. Tell the coworkers the Truth.....Admit that you are not attempting to get us a raise. You are using this as a platform for your future resume. Every signature goes towards unionizing IKEA Seattle. Oh by the way if you worked at IKEA and truly cared you'd know that IKEA is all caps not Ikea..... You don't care at all about the lives of people who have put their heart and soul into IKEA Seattle. Please sign my petition to let these people know that we like our IKEA Seattle the way it is. With the freedoms to pursue our passion. To help out where ever we can. To go the extra mile and to stand for the IKEA (not Ikea) values that make us who we are.
Why is this important?
If we unionize you will not be able to speak with your direct supervisor about issues you have. It will be through a union representative who will basically play phone tag with you and not actually help. Yes you may get a raise however the fool who is backing the unionization of IKEA Seattle can't even tell you how much of a raise you'll get. You know why? Cause it'll probably match your monthly union dues. Which means you'll break even, or who knows it could end up costing you money. Also if you work in another department, don't expect people to come running if you need help. Cause the union won't let that happen. Also if you break a union rule you can be charged up to $30k and who knows what those rules will consist of. We'll be forced to vote on a contract written in a bunch of legal jargon that doesn't make any sense to anyone but the legal community. The people petitioning to unionize won't even tell you that is what your signing. How can you trust someone who lies right off the bat..?????Sign mine and show them you love IKEA Seattle!!
