Demand for a Quiet Room at your Office!

Offer quiet rooms to everyone who wishes to work in a noise free environment as part of your Employee Benefits Program!
Why is this important?
We are starting a petition "Demand for a Quiet Room at your Office!".
It would mean a lot to us if you took a moment to add your name because:
Quiet Rooms benefit EVERYONE including individuals with Neurodiverse brains such as: ADHD and autism. Employers should offer Quiet Rooms in the Workplace to help employees achieve maximum productivity in the workplace.
The National Institute of Mental Health estimates that one in five people will experience a psychiatric disability in their lifetime, and one in four Americans currently knows someone who has a psychiatric disability. It is likely that most employers have at least one employee with a psychiatric disability.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other nondiscrimination laws, most employers must provide "reasonable accommodations" to qualified employees with disabilities. Many employers are aware of different types of accommodations for people with physical and communication disabilities, but they may be less familiar with accommodations for employees with disabilities that are not visible, such as psychiatric disabilities.
Reasonable accommodations are adjustments to a work setting that make it possible for qualified employees with and without disabilities to perform the essential functions of their jobs.
The majority of accommodations can be made for minimal (if any) cost and a small investment of time and planning. Moreover, effective accommodations can be good for business. They help employees return to work more quickly after disability or medical leave, eliminate costs due to lost productivity and can be key to recruiting and retaining qualified employees.
Real change happens when everyday people like you and I come together and stand up for what we believe in. Together we can reach heaps of people and help create change around this important issue.
After you've signed the petition please also take a moment to share it with others. It's super easy – all you need to do is forward this email or share this link on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, or Twitter:
